YOUNG ARTISTS LEARNING LEADERSHIP (Y'ALL) Summer Student Volunteer Program

Want a fantastic summer experience filled with loads of people, fun and an opportunity to be inspired or be inspiring??
 
Y'ALL will experience the thrill of working in all areas of the theater and art:

Our Visual Arts Program includes Graphic Design, painting, drawing, and photography to name a few. Y'ALL will be given the opportunity of assistant teaching with a professional artist. We also feature a gallery space for exhibitions every Friday, at the end of class.

Our Theatre Arts Program includes musical theatre, set design, sound and light technology, acting, singing, dancing and more.  Y'ALL will work with a professional creative team (director, choreographer, musical director, and designers), to assist with the rehearsal and performance of a major musical theatre production, with full design and technical support.

Y'ALL will help students experience a fun-filled day, coordinate clean-up in the classes, assist with daily duties of our curriculum and make life-long friends through our summer program.

2016 Summer Y'ALL Program Overview

Mandatory meeting on May __ or __ (TBA) from 5-6:30pm in KVPAC Building 1, Main Theatre. Please make plans to attend one of these meetings.

13 years is the minimum age requirement 

Wear WHITE YALL t-shirt and lanyard (provided)

Unless you are a returning volunteer, you will get either an AM or PM Shift:
AM Class is 8:30am to 12:30pm
PM Class is 12:30pm to 4:30pm

Y'ALL program is strictly on a volunteer basis – no fees/salaries attached 

Assigned daily duties (will vary): 

• Lunch Bunch attendant
• Art assistant: 
  Class attendant for student pick-up line at the carpool
  Class prep/clean-up
  Help instructor as needed 
• Theater assistant:
  Class attendant for student pick-up line at the carpool
  Class prep/clean-up
  Help instructor as needed
  Pre-class games in theater 
• Carpool helper:
  Incident report procedure
  Weekly Galleries and shows info/helpers
  Bathroom maintenance
  General trash pick-up inside/outside
