Gregory Magyar




Cibby Bowden

Gregory Magyar, Performing Arts Director 

Though a Houston area high school graduate, Gregory has since spent most of his theatrical career in Santa Fe and Seattle working with a variety of theatre organizations as a director, actor, designer, educator and administrator. After receiving his BFA in acting at the College of Santa Fe’s Greer Garson Theatre Center, Gregory developed an acting resume with credits from Shakespeare to Pinter and musicals to film and radio drama. As a director in the Seattle area, his credits include Gigi, The Glass Menagerie, Jane Eyre, The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, Proof, Driving Miss Daisy, and Private Lives to name but a few.

Cibby Bowden, Theatre Production Manager

Cibby joined the KVPAC team in 2012 as a resident director and acting instructor.  She has taught and produced theatre in private schools for more than a decade. Director credits include; Fiddler on the Roof, The Music Man, Oklahoma!, Once Upon A Mattress, A Christmas Carol,  Annie Get Your Gun, Oliver Twist, Dear Edwina, The Boy Friend, Wait Until Dark, and Willy Wonka. In her twenties, Cibby worked as an actress in Hollywood and can be seen (in re-runs!) on Full House, Cheers, Married With Children, Night Court, Star Trek the Next Generation, Days of our Lives and several films including Ghostbusters 2 and Maid to Order. More recently, Cibby has acted on the KVPAC stage as Joanne in Company, Mistress Page in The Merry Wives of Windsor, Betty Meeks in The Foreigner, Miss Furnival in Black Comedy, and received an All-Star Cast recognition for her role as Dot in the award-winning On The Road With Hank the Horse along with fellow actors Gregory Magyar, Brian Heaton and Elliott Houghton.
