Get Behind the Wheel - Children (ages 11 and older) and adults can go for a spin with professional artist Valentine Parker to learn the basics of fashioning wheel thrown pottery. Enrollment is limited to 2. Class meets for 1-? hours on Thursdays for 6 weeks from 6 ? 7:30pm. Session 1 is Sept 4 ? October 9. Session 2 is October 16 - November 20. All supplies & firing fees are included. The cost for the 6-week course is $110. KVPAC Members $90.00. Private lessons are also available by special arrangement with the instructor.

Rock Out with Clay! ?Shape, Wrap and Roll? CLAY! - Children, teens, & adults can learn the fundamentals of hand building in this delightful ongoing exploration of the creative world of clay. Pinching, coiling, mold forming, sculpture, glazing and participation in a wheel thrown pottery demonstration are just some of the techniques covered over a six week course. Classes run from Sept. 4th-Oct. 9 and Oct. 16-Nov. 20 Thursdays 4:30?5:30 p.m. 6-weeks- $110. KVPAC members $90.00

Hands on Ceramics - Taught by Tess Thornton, ceramic expert extraordinaire, students create a charming collection of kiln fired ceramic art that will be treasured for years to come with bisque ware personalized with customized glazing techniques: mugs, bowls, plates, candlesticks, coasters. All ages are welcome including teens and adults (preschoolers have to bring a parent). All supplies and firing fees are included. 4 Classes- meets on Thursdays from 4:30 ? 5:30pm. Sessions begin Sept 4th. A new session is offered each month. 4-week session for $75. KVPAC Members only $60.00

DRY BRUSH CERAMICS - Introduce your older student to this acrylic paint and bisque ceramic painting technique and they will be hooked! We are offering 4 weeks of classes to help you master this technique. You?ll complete one large project or several smaller ones. Choose a mythical dragon, magical unicorn, realistic horses?many others. Cool. Offered on Wednesdays at 5:00-6:00. $75. KVPAC Members $60

CLAYFUSION! Students learn to combine clay slabs, mosaics and glass fusing
techniques to to creat unique kiln fired art. For ages 7 & up - (children younger than 7 may attend with an adult). Fun for teens and adults. All supplies are included. Class meets on Thursdays from 4:30 ? 5:30 p.m. on October 16 ? 30, November 6 ? 20 or Dec 4-18.
The cost for this unique 3-week course is only $45. KVPAC members $35

HOLIDAY Gift Making Camp! - Age 8 and older.
Register early. This one is popular! Students create art ?til they drop for everyone on your shopping list. Dozens of HAND MADE beautiful gifts for mom, dad, sister, brother, grandma, teacher! Bird feeders, candle holders, vases, picture frames, cards, mosaic art and more! All wrapped up for gift giving! Super fun- super creative Two Day Camp will be held on Nov. 24 and 25- 9:00-12:00. The cost of a 2-day camp is $95.

FREE Art Workshops
FREE Art Workshops really are completely free; all supplies and instruction are provided and it is great way to try something new. The projects are donated to KVPAC to be sold at a ?Kids at Art Sale and Exhibition. After completion of a project for KVPAC, students may make one to take home for a very small supply fee. Children under 7 years old must bring a parent to class. A $10 registration fee is required to reserve your space and will be refunded to you at the beginning of class. Class meets Thursdays at 4:30 and 5:30. Great family activity!

Trash to Treasures ? You will be surprised what lurks unappreciated in the trash when discarded items are transformed into bird feeders, candle holders, vases, picture frame and more. Recycling Rules!

Pumping Iron ? Students learn to paint a faux finish on iron to create unique art for the home and garden.

Rock Out with Clay ? ?Shape, Wrap, and Roll? clay and learn basic hand building skills, glazing, and glass fusing techniques to create functional kin fired ceramic art.
