Christina Donelson,

Production Manager, Stage Manager and Scenic Designer

Chris graduated from the University of Texas with a BFA in Theatre Arts and Design where she started her professional stage-managing career with Austin Lyric Opera. She has worked for Juilliard, the Metropolitan Opera, Walnut Street Theatre, the Opera Company of Philadelphia, Cleveland Opera and even THE Opera Company of Charleston, West Virginia. Having had her fill of the cold Northern winters, she worked for several years as an Assistant Stage Manager and then the Production Stage Manager for Palm Beach Opera in Florida. She then changed coasts and took a position with the San Francisco Opera where she was an Assistant Stage manager for two seasons and took out a 3 month tour with the Merola Program's Western Opera Theatre as the Production Stage Manager. After a ten year sabbatical from the arts, she is currently the Production Manager for KVPAC and the Production Stage Manager for Books Alive! and Encore Players.
