KVPAC does much more than providing tuition-based classes, we are passionate about fulfilling our mission of Educating, Healing and Unifying through the Arts by providing a variety of community outreach programs.
There is no better example of our commitment to serve the art needs of our community than the wide range of Community Outreach programs and events KVPAC provides. KVPAC designs and implements innovative programming to meet the diverse needs of students of all ages including underserved populations such as those with special needs, the financially disadvantaged and at-risk youth.
KVPAC initiates partnerships and collaborates with a variety of local businesses and other non-profit organizations. During our last fiscal year, KVPAC provided community outreach programs and events to more than 10,400 children, youth and adults – 80% were served at no-charge. Programs and events are provided on-site or at KVPAC.

A few program examples…
Books Alive! Literacy through the Arts is a 4-hour field trip to KVPAC where children ages 3-7 experience the thrill of a professional musical theatre presentation based on children’s literature. Students rotate through a series of academic centers: Creative Writing, Music, Visual Arts and Choreography mini-workshops. Integrated arts-based curriculum meets literacy objectives and introduced children to the wonderful world of books and reading.
ARTS for ALL! provides theatre performances and visual arts workshops every month at KVPAC. Admission is always FREE and open to the public. There were 20 ARTS for ALL! events provided free to the community last year.
